New year, new me – Ironically of course.

New year, new you! Right? Well this time it isn’t a mantra worth chanting one New Years eve just to throw away the next day. This time I don’t have the pleasure to choose wether I’d like to change or stay put. Everything I had on my blog before today has disappeared. Hence, I have to become a new me.

I will always fear the 10th of January as the day I lost 5 years worth of writing. My soul hurts thinking about all of the memories and pictures that are now lost forever.

But there is no point in pitying oneself. I have to take this as a chance to spark my creative flame and grab this blog-bull by the horns.  I’m taking this opportunity to renew myself.

So what’s new?

I’m glad you asked.

First of all I’ll be focusing on my photography. I’ll take this as a chance to learn new, fantastic ways to capture what we have around us.

Second – I’ll be writing in English. I think that this is a fantastic chance to reach more people as well as improving my odds for international employement in a couple of years. (selfish as always)

Lastly I think that this is a great time for me to focus on topics that i truly enjoy. I predict that there will be a lot of travel, fashion and interior design coming your way. As well as cynical, narcissistic and, hopefully, funny remarks on universally acknowledged struggles of everyday life. Preferably in a way that feels fresh and new.

If you’d like to come along on this magical journey of online debauchery (and shameless self promotion) I suggest that you follow me on my social media-accounts. You can easily find me on Pinterest here (I’m warning you though, there are 2000+ pins and counting) and my personal Instagram here.

Love,

J
