But, I've learned to cope with it. After all, I've been dreaming about moving to, and living in, London since I was 15. Yet I never could have estimated how hard it is to be away from your family (and friends who I count as family). I am incredibly lucky to have one of the best families in the world - In the above photo you can see my dad help me get a shot for Instagram - and the fact that I am missing them as much as I am is just a sign for how much I love them. Yes, I know this all sounds very sappy, but let a girl have her blues once in a while!
Having said all of that I think moving to London was one of the best decisions in my life. In just 6 months I have experienced so much; I got myself a position as the editorial intern at The Gentlewoman and I've switched a long-distance relationship to now living with my boyfriend. It's been truly amazing, and even though I have found it though being away from the people closest to me I think it will help me grow as a human being.
